Contraindication/Caution Checklist for Ayurvedic Treatments

Treatments may be altered or cancelled if the guest has or develops certain conditions, including any of the following, at the time the treatment is to be administered:

  • Open sores on the body Fever or chills • Diarrhea  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Severe weakness or exhaustion or fainting Sweat Syndrome  • Dehydration • Exhaustion
  • All other acute illness Alcohol or drug intoxication • Enlarged spleen, liver or accumulated fluid in the abdomen
  • Cancer • Profuse mucous in the chest or sinuses
